Founded in 1907, UCOL is a government funded Institute of Technology, having a proud tradition of excellence in professional and technical education. It is one of the New Zealand's fastest growing tertiary education institutes, with over 8000 full time and part time students. All the courses are government approved & UCOL upholds the Ministry of Education code of practice for international students. .
 
UCOL is situated in the lower North Island of NewZealand that is itself located in the South Pacific. Its four main campuses are in the townships of Palmerston North, Wanganui, Masterton and Levin. UCOL's Palmerston North campus is right in the center of a bustling multi- cultural student city with easy access to off-campus entertainment and lifestyle pursuits. International student support services offer help with immigration, accommodation, cultural and sporting links, English language, computers and study assistance
