During my Co-op terms, I workedfor a software company that specialized in web-portals and educationalsoftware. I was the first undergraduate there and consider myself fortunate asmy course curriculum had made me capable of working as a technical writerimmediately after completing my first year of education.

In my tenure of Co-op, I was mainly involved in writing user manuals and instructional booklets.Our companyhead, Mr. Amrik Singh Sodhi, was very patient with me and helped me learn the finer aspects of technical writing. Besides this, I also got to learn a lotmore from my seniors, team – leader and other team mates. All of them were veryco-operative and provided help and guidance when and wherever needed. In myseven months of training, I was never made to feel as a subordinate (atrainee). Although I have a long way to gobut these Co-op work-terms have helped me amass good knowledge, work experience, confidence, interpersonal skills, taught me work culture and a lotmore which otherwise I wouldn’t have gained.
