The requirements for entry into Georgian College’s Mechanical EngineeringTechnology – Automotive Manufacturing (META) program are:

Academicrequirements at the 12th standard in Mathematics. In order to meet the Englishlanguage proficiency policy a 72% in English is required at the 12th standard(including a successful personal interview) or TOEIC standard of 750+ or IELTSscore of 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5).

UnderGeorgian’s policies, candidates who do not meet these admission requirementscannot be allowed to register in our programs.

However,students who do not meet the above English language requirement are beingoffered a special opportunity to join the “Mechanical Engineering Technicalprogram”. This program is being offered by CIIS in conjunction with Georgian College. The purpose of thisprogram is to give students with a Language score of TOEIC 550 - 749 theopportunity to complete a two (2) semester program which, upon successfulcompletion (TOEIC -750 and 6 advanced standing credits), guarantees theparticipant registration in the Mechanical Engineering – Automotive
