Congratulations to you all for being associated with this esteemed college which is taking great pains to not only to educate the students with best methodology but also to give exposure of  industry by making continuous efforts to establish links with best industries and arranging timely Industrial training  for all students.

Today is the time where all the students are required to not only get good   professional qualifications but also to equip them selves with various management strategies as due to globalization, the competition for good jobs has increased tremendously and the only alternative is to  enhance your classroom learning by gaining real world experience which can be done through Industrial Training Program.

Various factors of importance of Industrial Training :

  1. Exposure you will receive: A formalized training program will give you hands-on experience in your preferred field so that you can truly determine if it is the right industry for you. It is the exposure to the real corporate world. You may find that you thrive on the day-to-day responsibilities and pressures of the job you have chosen, or it may turn out that it might not be the perfect fit you may have thought it would be.
  2. Prepares you in advance: The beauty of this training is that it helps you determine what you are looking for in a career before hand so you can make adjustments to your curriculum if needed. Sometimes what we believe is our true calling, but once it actually starts , it is realized that one might be a better fit in another area.
  3. Skill Development & Improvement: advantage of Industrial Training in your chosen field is that it helps you apply the skill set that you are learning in college and allows you to identify opportunities for improvement. Recognizing where improvement is needed is essential so that you have the proper skill sets to be competitive in the marketplace by the time you are through with your studies. Many students find that once they have participated in an training program, their classes begin to become more "focused" because they better understand way that what they are learning is applied in the workplace.
  4. Head start in the job search: The experience that you are gathering during your training also benefits you when it is time to look for a career opportunity because you have "real life" experience on your resume. As a candidate you must be aware that the employer you are working for is evaluating your day-to-day performance and overall fit within the company for future employment. This could benefit you when study time rolls around because you may already have an offer from the employer before even interviewing with other companies on campus.
  5. Corporate Culture & Values: the opportunity to experience the employer's culture and values, making sure that they align with your expectations in your career. Culture and values vary greatly among companies and you want to find the most comfortable fit for you. You also have the advantage of meeting and interacting with many of your potential co-workers and decision maker in the organization so you can feel more comfortable with your decision to work there.
  6. Get started: Proper research is required to get started so that your industrial training proves as an asset to you and your resume. What Project is of your interest and on what you can work on efficiently?
  7. Building Contacts: You meet people within the organization that can help and guide you towards your goal and develop your potential ability. Helps in creating social network and them advice you on how to be successful in a particular field .Solve your problems with their experience and knowledge.

Students should take initiatives towards these Industrial Training Programs so that each one of you has a strong foundation for your future.
Therefore I would like to conclude stating that the whole purpose of an Industrial Training Program is “making students valuable in the job Market”, which benefits the employee and employers in long term.

Thank You.
